After training specifically in screen acting at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Rebekah appeared in Stuart Murdoch’s Glasgow based film God Help the Girl and went onto work on a variety of film projects with London Film School, Central Film School and the National Film and Television School.
Rebekah has recently finished filming her own innovative short film Aliyah in collaboration with London based film maker Marie-Cecile Embleton and a talented team of artists. The piece merges playing the violin with dance,and was devised and performed by Rebekah. Rebekah and Marie-Cecile hope to enter it into international film festivals next year.
Selah Theatre 2014
Rebekah has recently joined Selah Theatre, a London based new writing and devising company, as an associate artist. She will be joining them for their next TIE tour, ‘Logged Out’, in October.
Second Ask Theatre 2014
Rebekah joined Second Ask Theatre, a new London based production company for their production of One for the Road by Harold Pinter. Rebekah played the role of Gila and was also lead composer for the majority of the music featured, playing violin in the performances in addition to her character role.
